Researcher

Biomedical developments and health interventions impact patients and practitioners in ways that are not always foreseen or appreciated. I am an interdisciplinary researcher applying largely qualitative methods to investigate these implications. 

I am currently a researcher on the qualitative evaluation of the Children's Surgery Outcome Reporting project (CSOR). I am also a co-investigator on the iPREGCARE study (NIHR207257), investigating the implications of personalised pre-conception recurrence risk information for the parents of children with genetic conditions (MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine). 

In 2023, I was awarded a three-year JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) with the Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM). An example of my engagement during this time is the 'Making it Personal' project - utilising theatre to spark conversations on the implications of genomic risk information (PCER Fund 2024-2025).
