Angela Martin

My role straddles research, strategic and operation management functions. I influence the strategic direction of the MS&HERG through being part of the MS&HERG senior leadership team, and fulfil a senior operational role by providing research support to the Co-Directors, and operational guidance to other PIs in the MS&HERG liaising with HR, grants and finance teams for budgeting, resources, and contracts as well as overseeing MS&HERG communication, ethics, and public and patient involvement. I co-author peer-reviewed articles and final reports/monographs to funders and stakeholders and contribute to the dissemination strategy for MS&HERG. I provide day-to-day supervision to the Ann McPherson fellows (pre-doctoral research assistant training posts), jointly manage the group admin team and oversee the administration of the Oxford Qualitative Courses programme.
