George Edwards
BA, MSc
Research Assistant
I am currently working as a Research Assistant on the METRIC study comparing the non-contact infrared thermometers with their more widely used tympanic (ear canal) and axillary (armpit) counterparts in children aged five and under.
I am also working on projects aiming to characterise the paediatric workload for the Out-of-Hours services and produce a guidance document for parents with acutely ill children.
I have a broad ranging background following a BA in Human Sciences and MSc in Medical Anthropology both from the University of Oxford. I am interested in role of (new) technology and diagnosis in healthcare and mental health.
