Joaquim Vidiella-Martin

Researcher in Economics

I am a Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, based at the Centre for Health Service Economics and Organisation.

My research interests lie within applied micro-econometrics, health economics, labour economics and public health. My current research focuses on the intergenerational transmission of mental health.

I have also worked on the following topics:

    • Measuring socioeconomic inequalities in birth outcomes.
    • Estimating the causal impact of public interventions targeting income-related inequalities in child health and education.
    • Examining the role of provider behaviour in shaping early childhood health.
