DPHil Project
I am a DPhil candidate in the Department of Primary Health Care in MS&HERG under the supervision of Sue Ziebland and John Powell. My doctoral project focuses on exploring the ways that 'Femtech', or digital technologies targeted towards women, are changing people's experiences and attitudes during fertility journeys. I mainly use qualitative methodologies to explore this. I have also worked as a teaching assistance for the department Qualitative Methods courses and research assistant for projects across the department, including for RbD2 completing user acceptance testing and interviews with patients on technologies in GP settings, and interviews with patients and providers on the use of genetic risk scores in primary care settings.
My research interests are in reproductive health, patient-facing technologies, and co-productive design. I have Prior to joining the University, I led user acceptance testing for a non-profit software development group and graduated with a first-class MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford. I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Administration at George Mason University in the United States.
I am a member of the Trinity College MCR, where I captain the wild swimming society.
