Liliia Bespala

I have a PhD in Linguistics and my previous work looked at the development of language in multicultural settings. More recently, I have been teaching English to future health care professionals. As an Academic Visitor at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, I am working with Charlotte Albury on doctor-patient communication. My aim is to identify linguistic patterns in conversation that help to improve interaction between practitioners and patients and mitigate negative outcomes.
