Academic Lead for Primary Care Educational Scholarship

Biography

Louise has taken up a new role at the University of Oxford as Academic Lead in Primary Care Educational Scholarship. She is a GP and Clinical Professor of Medical Education at Queen Mary University of London. Nationally, Louise Chairs the RCGP-NCCH Creative Health SIG and is leading on conceptual development of Flourishing Spaces in Healthcare and Higher Education, and on the Human Dimension of Healthcare.

Education

Louise is a National Teaching Fellow and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is a medical educator whose work focuses on co-creation, creativity, human flourishing and the human dimensions of healthcare education. She was part of a team introducing and co-leads a co-creation award at QMUL (SEED award),
