Lydia Flock
Marketing and Communications Officer
I serve as the Marketing and Communications Officer for the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, where I promote our expanding portfolio of postgraduate programmes and support our marketing and communications initiatives. My responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including:
- Writing, editing, and proofreading various marketing materials across email campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of our content plan, which includes creating engaging social media and digital content such as podcasts, short videos, and blog posts.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of our marketing and communication activities, and providing evaluation reports to support ongoing optimisation efforts.
Before joining the team, I held marketing and communications positions at organisations such as Global Water Intelligence, the Junior League of London, and Oxford University’s Department of Paediatrics. Having acquired a BA in Drama from the University of Virginia and an MA in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, I worked for many years as a voice coach and educator. In my spare time, I conduct and publish voice-related research and remain active as a vocal manual therapist in the Oxford area, advocating for vocal health and well-being.
I am deeply passionate about the intersection of healthcare, research, and communication. I am committed to leveraging my skills and experience to support the department's mission and objectives.
