BEng, PhD
Senior Researcher in Health Economics
My research interests are health technology assessment, including but not limited to economic evaluations within clinical trials, and electronic health record analytics. I am a member of the Research Methods team in The Bone & Joint Journal Editorial Board. I am also a committee member of the Medical Sciences Internal Fund: Pump Priming.
I completed a BEng in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Public Health specialising in Health Economics at the National University of Singapore. Before my PhD, I worked as a hospital executive and research coordinator at the Singapore General Hospital. Here I worked with both the clinical and operations teams, learning hospital operation and administration, and interacting with and collecting research data from patients and their caregivers.
I'm currently involved in PANORAMIC, a platform trial to evaluate the clinical and cost-effectiveness of antiviral treatments for COVID-19, and various trial-based economic evaluations in the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS).
