DPhil Student & Dietitian

My research focuses on the treatment of excess weight in adolescents with a specific focus on the use of digital applications to support treatment.

My doctorial research will be completed in the Health Behaviours Team under the joint supervision of Professor Susan Jebb, Professor Paul Aveyard and Dr Tanisha Spratt.  I have been awarded the Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott NDPCHS Graduate Scholarship in Primary Health Care to fund my studies.

My background is as a Registered Dietitian specialising in prevention and treatment of excess weight in children.  I completed in my undergraduate degree in dietetics at the University of Alberta in Canada and my masters in Advanced Dietetics at the University of Nottingham.  I am also the co-founder and manager of a social enterprise which works with local councils, schools and not-for-profits to develop, deliver and evaluate innovative public health nutrition interventions.
