Economic methods for the evaluation of cost-effectiveness in precision oncology for sarcoma
I joined the department in 2024 as a full-time DPhil student under the supervision of Apostolos Tsiachristas, Bass Hassan, and Lisa Hinton. My research focuses on advancing the methodological toolkit for health economists conducting cost-effectiveness analyses with observational data. I have a particular interest in causal inference methods tailored for complex interventions, small sample sizes, heterogeneous patient populations, rare diseases, and whole-pathway modeling. My work is applied to the OxPOS study in precision oncology for sarcoma, and is funded by Fundación Ramón Areces.
