VISITING ACADEMIC FELLOW

Epidemiology, Health Behaviours, Metabolism

Xue holds a BSc in Public Health, an MD in Epidemiology and Health Statistics, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology and Health Statistics at Peking University in China. Xue joined the Oxford Health Behaviours team as visiting academic fellow in 2023.

Xue has years of experience in analysing UK Biobank, China Kadoorie Biobank and NHANES across data science and behavioural science, as well as the analysis of medical examination data from Chinese hospitals. Currently, Xue is participating in epidemiological research using CPRD to investigate the associations of obesity and weight change with mental illness.
