AIMed: Optimising treatment regimens using computer-systems for People Living with Dementia
The research project aims to design and develop an Artificial Intelligence tool that will aid healthcare professionals optimise medication for people living with Dementia. The project was awarded a total of £224,00.00 by Alzheimer's Society to fund the research activities.
We are developing the AI model using an experience-based co-design approach by involving PLwD, carers, health and social care professionals, and different stakeholders.
Expected impact
This work will lead to the development of a new AI support tool for health care professionals to use in shared decision making about optimising medications in dementia.
