Rasangi Prematilaka
Grants officer
As grants officer, I have responsibility for supporting academics and programme managers coordinate and submit research proposals to various research funders and clinical industrial partners.
Part of my role also extends to the provision of professional and flexible support in managing successful research programmes,
adhering to the terms and conditions of both the university and those of various funders throughout the lifetime of a project.
I have been with the University of Oxford over 17 years in management roles with a particular focus on research facilitation, project management and the REF.
Prior to this and after receiving my MA in International Relations, I worked in the humanitarian sector in South Asia.
My expertise covered both areas of fundraising and programme management - advocating for and safeguarding women’s and children’s rights
within a regional context and in close collaboration with local communities, policy makers and international donors.
At Primary Health Care, my remit covers the research group - Clinical Informatics
