Teaching
Teaching and mentoring are a core part of our team’s contribution at Oxford. Davide Biliardi and Gugulethu Moyo are Teaching Fellows on the Executive Masters in Global Health Leadership, where Davide and Luke Allen co-lead the flagship module on Challenges in Global Health. Michael Kidd also contributes to the programme, drawing on his extensive international leadership experience.

Alongside formal teaching, we provide close supervision for Oxford Academic Clinical Fellows, supporting them to design and deliver policy-relevant research projects in global primary care. We have also established secondment opportunities with the World Health Organization, enabling early-career researchers to gain first-hand experience at the science–policy interface.
Our doctoral supervision is highly selective. At present we have limited capacity to take on new PhD students, but we are keen to hear from outstanding applicants—particularly those from under-represented backgrounds—who are motivated to tackle pressing global health challenges through primary care research.
