MSc BSc

DPhil Candidate

  • I am a DPhil candidate in the Health Behaviours team with a background in Health Psychology. My research primarily focuses on designing and evaluating interventions aimed at reducing alcohol purchase and consumption within the general population. I am also exploring the perceptions and barriers to adopting low- and no-alcohol alternatives as substitutes for traditional alcoholic beverages. My projects are part of the NIHR Oxford Health BRC's Preventing Multiple Morbidities research theme.

Education

I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bristol, where I collaborated as part of the GW4 Undergraduate Psychology Consortium on open science initiatives to address the 'reproducibility crisis' in research. Following my undergraduate studies, I completed an MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Bath, where I examined attitudes toward alcohol calorie labelling and the influence of BMI on drinking and eating behaviours.
