Michael Bride

I am an early career researcher and DPhil candidate within the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research Group (CIHORG) and the Health Economics and Policy Outcomes Group at the University of Oxford and a HealthIntelAct fellow. My research focuses on developing patient centered approaches to improve influenza vaccination uptake among clinically at-risk groups in England.

Iholds a Masters degree of Public Health in Epidemiology from New York University. Prior to starting at Oxford, I was a Research Officer at Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP), where I conducted formative research and program evaluations on a wide variety of Social and Behavior Change interventions across Sub-Saharan Africa through Breakthrough ACTION. I am a returned Peace Corps volunteer from The Gambia, and I have several years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions in low-resource environments. 

My research interests include participatory approaches, economic evaluations of behavior change interventions, real world evidence, and mixed-methods study design.
