Taron Topham

My DPhil investigates the use of virtual care in the provision of diabetic wound care to rural, remote, and Indigenous patient populations in Saskatchewan, Canada.

I first arrived in Oxford in the fall of 2024 after being selected for the Rhodes Scholarship and have since completed a MSc in Translational Health Sciences. My MSc research investigated the implementation of a pharmaceutical dispensing machine intended to increase access to medications during out-of-hours periods in rural Wales.

Prior to my time in Oxford, I worked as a registered nurse on a high acuity medicine unit in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
