Bakita Kasadha is a qualitative researcher within the department's MS&HERG (Medical Sociology and Health Experiences Research Group), and has recently been awarded the Young Investigator Award at an International workshop on HIV and Women.

Bakita joined the department in 2021 and is the main researcher on the NIHR RfPB-funded Nourish-UK study exploring attitudes towards infant feeding among new mothers and birthing parents living with HIV.
