Mandatory training courses to complete when you begin your role
All members of the Department must undertake mandatory training, as required by the department training policy.
Personal Development Review
Our policy is for every member of staff to have a PDR once per year to review and appraise your development.
Courses offered by the University:

> People and Organisation Development - designs, delivers, advises on and commissions personal development workshops and programmes and coaching and mentoring schemes for all staff groups.

A range of online and face-to-face courses, workshops and resource for those in the Medical Sciences Division, including skills-based training.

Mentoring Schemes
The Medical Sciences Division runs a peer mentoring scheme for all staff, which involves the formation of mentoring circles comprising 3-4 members of research staff and one more senior member of staff.
