Menopause in the Workplace: Seminar and Discussion
We’re pleased to invite you to a seminar exploring the experience of menopause in the workplace.
Our keynote speaker is Professor Rebecca Jones from Henley Business School, who will share insights from her research on menopause at work, with a focus on how coaching can support those going through the menopause and improve workplace wellbeing.
Alongside Professor Jones, we’ll hear from a range of speakers who will offer perspectives from research, Human Resources (HR), and workplace policy. The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about how menopause is being approached in different settings, and what good practice might look like in supporting colleagues through this life stage.
This session is open to all staff and aims to create a supportive space for learning, discussion and reflection. Whether you are experiencing the menopause yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more, we encourage you to come along.

Active Bystander Training
When individuals step in to challenge harmful behaviour, they help create safer, more inclusive environments. Research into the bystander effect (Darley & Latané, 1968) has shown that people are less likely to intervene when others are present, assuming someone else will act. However, when equipped with the right tools, bystanders can overcome hesitation and take positive action.
Active Bystander training is designed to equip individuals with practical methods to intervene safely and effectively. These in-person sessions are designed to help colleagues feel more confident in supporting the creation of an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
This workshop is facilitated by our own Richard Stevens and Sarah Hewitt.
