For International Clinical Trials Day 2017, staff and students take part in the NIHR's #IAmResearch campaign

International Clinical Trials Day, taking place on 20 May 2017, celebrates clinical research all over the world, and highlights the important impact research has had on medicine to date. It recognises the day, 270 years ago, that James Lind started what is often considered the first randomized clinical trial onboard a ship on 20 May, 1747.

A selection of staff and students in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences are marking this anniversary by taking part in the NIHR's #IAmResearch campaign, to show why we do research and why research matters to us.
