Talking to young people with skin conditions has shown that they want a website they can trust which allows them to learn from other people’s experiences.

We will interview young people aged 12–24 to find out their experiences of acne, alopecia, eczema or psoriasis.

The interviews will be video or audio-recorded (according to preference) and used to develop

  • a web-based resource for young people with skin conditions, as part of the award-winning website
  • a learning and teaching resource for medical students and other health carers.

Participants will be recruited via social media, support groups, GPs and other health professionals. Interviews will be conducted by a researcher with experience of interviewing young people.
