COMMUNITY PANEL
Participants wanted!
Are you interested in the ways that food affects our lives?
Do you care about the environment?
Would you like to shape a national research project in a meaningful way?
The University of Strathclyde is looking for people to join a Community Panel that will shape the THRIVING Food Futures project.
What is the community panel?
To make sure that this research reflects the lives of real people with a range of experiences, we are creating a Community Panel. This panel will meet regularly over the next few years to look at research produced by the THRIVING Food Futures team, and discuss whether it reflects their understanding, experiences, and values.
The panel will be made up of 8-12 people. We are keen to work with a diverse range of people, and especially those who have experienced challenges with food (e.g. in terms of access, affordability, allergies or health.)
What will it involve?
You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to take part in the panel.
You will need to:
- Take part in a 1.5hr meeting every month, online or in-person in Glasgow
- Be interested in food and/or the environment
- Be open to working together with people with a wide range of ideas, views, and experiences
Participants will be compensated for their time in the panel.
