OUR PROJECT PARTNERS
An academic department specialising in typography and communication design. In the context of AMR research, they contribute expertise in visual communication, behaviour change design, and how information is presented to influence public understanding and engagement with antibiotic stewardship.
This partnership contributes expertise in communication design to help the network understand how AMR messages, data and guidance are interpreted by different audiences, strengthening public engagement and behaviour change around antibiotic use.
A UK-based charity and advocacy organisation focused on raising awareness of antimicrobial resistance and pushing for national policy action to address it. They engage with policymakers, healthcare sectors and the public to drive AMR response strategies (inferred from the group’s known remit as an AMR campaigning body).
They work with our Network to amplify public and patient voices, supporting advocacy and policy engagement that reflect lived experience and align with the network’s mission to make AMR a shared societal issue.
The main UK industry association for manufacturers and distributors of in vitro diagnostic tests. BIVDA represents most of the diagnostics sector and advocates for improved diagnostic technologies and infrastructure to better inform antimicrobial use and stewardship, aiming to reduce unnecessary antibiotic prescribing.
They supports our network by linking AMR research with the diagnostics industry, helping translate people-focused insights into better use, development and uptake of diagnostic tools that reduce unnecessary antibiotic use.
A UK government public-health body responsible for protecting the population from health threats, including infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. UKHSA leads surveillance, analysis, and interventions to control AMR nationally, supports evidence-based policy, and collaborates with healthcare and research partners to monitor and reduce resistance.
They partners with the our Network to connect people-centred AMR research with national surveillance, policy and public-health action, ensuring insights from the network inform real-world antimicrobial stewardship and decision-making.
This is a collaborative initiative that brings together diverse voices (e.g., patients, researchers, clinicians, communicators) to share stories and perspectives about antimicrobial resistance. It aims to humanise AMR, influence public understanding, and support behaviour change related to antibiotic use.
This partnership centres PLE and diverse perspectives, helping translate research into compelling narratives that resonate with communities, professionals and policymakers.
