OVAL (Observed Variability and Lability) allows you to quantify glucose homeostasis in type 2 diabetes and control subjects.

OVAL (Observed Variability and Lability) allows you to quantify glucose homeostasis in type 2 diabetes and control subjects. OVAL is a robust method for measuring glucose:insulin homeostasis in control and type 2 diabetes subjects. It has the capacity to quantify sequential deterioration and monitor effects of intervention.

OVAL is an excel enabled workbook and should work on Microsoft Excel versions 2007, 2010, 2011. It might work on other versions but they have not been tested. The workbook uses macros to calculate the methods of OVAL so in order for it to work you need to enable macros.

OVAL is free to use for academic and non-commercial purposes.
