David Nunan
Senior Researcher and Educator in Evidence-Based Health Care
Being an educator in EBHC creates a dilemma. We teach others the skills needed to ensure their practice is informed by the best-available evidence. But being an educator is a profession. How then do we ensure our practice is “evidence-based”? And what does “evidence-based” mean in the context of education and teaching? These were some of the questions I was interested in when setting up these courses and wondered if others had similar. But the reality was I became much more interested in questions I hadn’t even considered. And that for me is perhaps the greatest thing about learning.”
