Andrew has a background in public health, epidemiology, environmental health, medical history, early childhood development, and infectious disease. Prior to joining the department, he worked as an epidemiologist for the UK Health Security Agency in the COVID-19 Epidemiology Cell in London. He also spent four years working as a Senior Associate (private research consultant) for Alacrity Development in Cape Town, South Africa.
