Practice Liaison Officer
I joined the Practice Liaison team in May 2023 as a Practice Liaison Officer. Our team supports and facilitates general practice staff taking part in our research projects. With over 2,000 practices in our network, and hundreds of them research active, we are an exciting research network to be part of. Our current research projects are updated regularly and can be viewed here. Please contact me directly if you work in general practice and are interested in learning more.
Education
I completed my DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford’s Institute of Social Policy in 2022. My thesis, Pathways to Parenthood in a Low Fertility Context, can be accessed here. I read Public Policy (MRes) and Political Science (BA Hons) at the University of East Anglia on an Academic Excellence Scholarship (2011–15).
Research
My previous research has centred on health policy, particularly on studying policy incentives to improve family planning and sexual health services. I am an experienced social researcher, with a background in qualitative research methods and constructivist grounded theory frameworks.
My transition into Primary Health Care marks an interest in understanding the working experiences of primary healthcare workers in the UK.
