Data Scientist and DPhil Candidate

Her DPhil in Primary Health Care Sciences explores factors associated with the transmission of the influenza virus.

As a Data Scientist she worked on the modernisation of public-facing health surveillance reports within a dedicated research team. Notable projects have included the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC) annual report for 2024-25, and weekly respiratory surveillance reports and interactive virology dashboards.

She provided data-cuts from the Oxford-Royal College of General Practitioners Clinical Informatics Digital Hub (ORCHID) for a range of research studies, and she was a dissertation project tutor for the inaugural cohort of the MSc in Applied Digital Health in 2023.

She has a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Master’s in Translational Clinical Science from University College London. Prior to joining Oxford in 2019, she was a Statistician, and began her career in health data management and analysis in 2012.
