Current Research
As Principal Investigator, I lead NIHR-funded projects geared towards changing behaviours in primary care. I use mixed methods to design and test behavioural interventions that address cardiovascular disease risk factors, including obesity, smoking, and sleep disorders. My focus is on under-served groups such as ethnic minorities and people with psychosis.
Background
I earned a BSc in Psychology and Languages from UCL, an MSc (Hons) in Clinical Neurodevelopment from King’s College London, and a DPhil in Primary Health Care from Oxford. At Oxford, I was a Research Assistant, Research Associate, Lecturer, and Junior Dean.
In 2024, I joined the University of Bristol. I now serve on the BMC Editorial Board and with the Bristol Health Partners' Psychosis Health Integration Team. In 2025, I started my NIHR Fellowship.
