- Outline competencies and capabilities for staff providing remote general practice services - This resource summaries key competencies and capabilities for staff who may be involved in providing remote general practice services to patients (such as telephone, video or on-line consultations). The competencies are set out by staff type, knowledge domain with some examples of each. Data is from the corresponding paper.
- How to get the most out of your telephone appointment - This resource summaries key points for patients to consider in advance of having a telephone appointment with their doctor. It may help patients and doctors alike in getting the most out of the telephone appointment.

Getting the best out of the new world of remote and digital general practice - This resource summaries the key findings from the whole of the Remote by Default 2 study, aimed at policy professionals and decision makers. It describes four key themes of safety, staff wellbeing, equity of care and technology and infrastructure, and some practical options for action. It was presented and discussed with policy, clinical, research, parliamentarians and MPs at an event in Westminster on April 24th 2024.

Digital access, triage, and inequalities: navigating digital candidacy - The landscape of UK general practice has fundamentally changed. It now involves a web of multiple organisations, people, and technologies. Patients and staff navigate this multi-modal network to access and deliver care. This resource summaries how the assumptions made by technologies can introduce, compound, and reinforce inequities in access to care.

- Workshop:The changing face of remote access to primary care in the UK: Moving from research findings into implementation. - On 5th July 2024 we held a major event at Green Templeton College, Oxford, 50 people attended up from all jurisdictions Including policymakers, clinical leaders from NHS Resolution, NHS England, NHS Wales, Healthcare Services Safety Investigations Branch, Integrated Care Boards, clinicians and managers from participating RBD2 practices, BMA General Practitioners Committee and Royal College of General Practitioners senior leaders, people involved in the GP curriculum and in other senior training roles and representatives from government across 3 of the UK nations. The study findings were shared (along with related NIHR-funded studies ‘Mode of Consultation’ and ‘Video and Hybrid Group consultations’) as part of the broader evolving landscape of remote access to care. In the afternoon, attendees joined workshops to consider how the study findings could be implemented across the areas of i) contracts and regulation, ii) education and training and iii) within the practice itself.
- General Practice in a Digital World: The impact of remote consulting on patients and healthcare providers - Prof Trisha Greenhalgh, Dr Gemma Hughes, Francesca Dakin, Nadia Swann, and Dr Rebecca Payne share the findings of the study in a session chaired by Lisa Drake. Themes explored include contemporary general practice, care navigation, patient access to care, patient safety in remote consultations, infrastructure and technology and workforce issues including education and training.
