Our Primary Health Care Clinical Trials Unit is a world-leading centre for primary care research, conducting high-quality clinical trials to improve patient and community health. The unit focuses on key research areas such as infectious diseases, cardiovascular health, and behavioural medicine. With a multidisciplinary team and strong partnerships, including the PCVC-CTU consortium and UK Clinical Research Network, the unit is committed to patient-centred care, rigorous research, and impactful dissemination of findings to influence health policies and practices.
