Green Impact
Green Impact is a United Nations award-winning programme designed to support environmentally and socially sustainable practice in organisations led in the UK by the National Union of Students.
Both the University and the department are a part of this initiative and our department currently holds a Gold NUS Green Impact Award.
These pages are your first stop for information about what the department is doing to improve sustainability, and for simple tips and other content that can help you to lower your own and the department's environmental footprint.

Primary Care Plant-based Buffet - Veganuary special - Recipes now available!
As part of the University’s Sustainable Food priorities, we hosted a Plant-based Buffet for veganuary in the Primary Care Building Atrium on Thursday 18 January. People brought their favourite plant-based dish and enjoyed tasting everyone’s home-cooked delights. and vote for your favourite! You can find recipes for the dishes here
