Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at NDPCHS
At the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, we are committed to fostering and sustaining an inclusive culture, where diversity of thought is celebrated and equity is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the research we conduct has the potential to benefit everyone, and we strive to ensure that all individuals feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to engage with and participate in our work.
Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion is supported by various key groups, including the People and EDI Committee, the Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team (SAT), and a range of Better Workplace Groups. These groups play an essential role in driving forward our EDI initiatives. We also work closely with the University’s Equality and Diversity Unit, as well as the wider Medical Sciences Division, to align with and contribute to the University’s overall goal of fostering an inclusive culture.
Our Department’s Values place a strong emphasis on inclusion, and we expect all members of our community to uphold these principles. Together, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels respected, heard, and able to contribute to the success of our work.
